Engine is a 2 – 2 and 1/2 HP engine at 600 RPM. Serial number is TB-266910, which according to the lists I’ve found on the intraweb put this being built in 1940. Up for sale or offers here is a vintage Stover CT2 hit and miss engine. My 1 1/2 horsepower Sattley is identical in many ways. About 1918 the Racine was dropped from the engine name. ![]() I have documented this using Montgomery Ward catalogs. This engine was built and sold by Montgomery Ward and Co. As promised, I will now document the restoration of my 1 1/2 horsepower Racine Sattley.
